The Priory Hospital Woking is a 26-bed acute psychiatric hospital offering a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, day patient and therapy services in both the main building and the Lodge Therapy Centre, a converted Victorian house in the hospital grounds.

In addition to our regular treatment programmes we have introduced two cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) groups on a Saturday morning. CBT offers a successful, practical way to deal with depression, anxiety, stress and other common mental health issues. Both groups involve six-week courses and can be attended as a half day or as single group therapy.

Each session is themed and structured; for example, 'Dealing with Difficult Situations' involves problem solving techniques and includes anger and anxiety management, self-esteem issues and goal-setting and visualisation exercises. Individual therapy is also available as part of these courses.

Facilities

Patients have their own comfortable en-suite rooms with television and are encouraged to have their meals in the main dining room.
